PANCE Prep Plan

I plan to begin my PANCE studying this week. Since this rotation is a bit of a lighter one I can use the evenings and weekends to begin my studying. My weakest subjects accoding to my PACKRAT were GI and psych. I would like to begin my studying with my weaker subjects and spend additional time on them. Since I am currently on my psych rotation I am able to study for EOR while using this time to study for the PANCE. My next subject I plan to cover is GI which I will spend 5 days reading through pance prep pearls (PPP) during the evenings and breaks during rotation. I will then follow the order of PPP and read through those sections and after each section do a certain number of questions that pertain to that subject. On subjects that are worth less % or have less topics in them, I dedicated less days to. I chose to end my studying on cardio and pulm because these are the subjects I feel most confident in and have scored well in on recent EORs and these are also worth the most % on the blue print so it will be a good refresher. I incorporated breaks on the days I need to have off from studying for special events such as birthdays, holidays or vacations. I tried to incorporate some form of studying on these days such as by doing review questions during my travel for my weekend vacation or doing questions later at night after holiday celebrations. I planned to finish all of PPP about 1 week before my pance date which will give me some leeway in case I fall slightly behind plan and will also allow me to do practice questions during these times. Pending my EOC results, the order in which I complete the topics may change.
